How automated reminders work

What gets sent automatically, when, and how to turn each one on or off.

Callisto sends five kinds of text automatically. Each one fires at a specific moment in the appointment lifecycle, and you can edit the wording or turn most of them off.

The five auto messages

  • Booking confirmation — sent the moment a client books. Always on.
  • Day-before reminder — sent the evening before the appointment.
  • 2-hour reminder — sent two hours before the appointment.
  • Missed-appointment follow-up — sent an hour after a no-show.
  • Bring them back — sent to clients who haven't booked in 60+ days.

Where to manage them

Sidebar → Marketing. You'll see the five messages at the top with a toggle on each. Click one to edit the wording or change when it goes out.
