Privacy Policy
Last updated June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Callisto Booking (“Callisto,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our booking platform and websites, including any business booking page hosted on callistobooking.com.
1. Who this policy covers
Callisto provides software that independent service businesses (“Providers”) use to accept appointments. This policy covers two groups: Providers who create an account with us, and Customers who book appointments with a Provider through a Callisto-hosted booking page.
2. Information we collect
- Account information (Providers): name, email, business name, phone number, and login credentials.
- Booking information (Customers): name, mobile phone number, email address, and the appointment details you provide.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, and basic analytics used to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage bookings, accounts, and payments.
- To send transactional communications — appointment confirmations, reminders, reschedule/cancellation notices, and verification codes — by email and, where you have opted in, by SMS.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
4. SMS / text messaging
With your consent, Callisto sends appointment-related SMS messages on behalf of the Provider you book with — including confirmations, reminders, reschedule and cancellation notices, and one-time verification codes. You provide consent by entering your mobile number and checking the consent box on the booking page. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share mobile data only with the messaging service providers (such as our SMS carrier) strictly to deliver the messages you have requested.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- With the Provider you book with, so they can manage your appointment.
- With service providers who process payments (Stripe), send email, or deliver SMS on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations and only for those purposes.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Callisto, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
- Access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such message.
9. Children’s privacy
Callisto is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
