There are two fees on every card payment — Stripe's and Callisto's. Both are taken out before the money lands in your bank. Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo don't go through Callisto, so we don't take anything on those.
Stripe's fee
2.9% + 30¢ per card payment. This is set by Stripe and the same for every Stripe user worldwide. It covers card processing.
Callisto's fee
On top of Stripe's fee, Callisto takes a small percentage based on your plan:
- Standard plan — 2% on top of Stripe
- Professional plan — 1% on top of Stripe
- Elite plan — 0% on top of Stripe
Example
On a $100 haircut paid by card, on the Standard plan: Stripe takes $3.20 ($2.90 + 30¢), Callisto takes $2.00, you keep $94.80.
