Stripe is the service Callisto uses to take card payments. Setup takes about five minutes. Once it's done, clients can pay during booking and the money goes straight to your bank.
Start the connection
Sidebar → Payments. Click Connect Stripe. You'll get sent to Stripe's setup page in a new tab.
What Stripe asks for
- Your legal name and business name
- Your business address
- Your bank account or debit card for payouts
- A photo of your ID (driver's license or passport)
- Your Social Security Number (US) or equivalent for tax reporting
After you finish
You're sent back to your dashboard. The Payments page will show "Active" and your services can now accept card payments. Make sure each service has Card payment checked under its payment options.
Don't want Stripe?
You can still take bookings without it. Use Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, or in-person payment instead. See the next article for setup.
